The San Diego County Investigators Association, (SDCIA) was founded and directed in 1962, by then active law enforcement professional agents, Deputy Sheriff's, Police Detectives, Field Investigators and other front line officers from various local, state, government, federal and military agencies.

SDCIA is a nonprofit organization and over the years, our membership has migrated from active Law Enforcement Officers (LEO's) and Investigators to qualified private sector investigators with law enforcement experience.

Today, the San Diego County Investigators Association (SDCIA) continues to be directed by a former Law Enforcement Officer (LEO), Santos "Sal" Garcia,  and other former highly experienced LEO's and Fraud Investigators from various local, state and federal agencies.

The majority of our members are qualified former / retired professional law enforcement officers (LEO's) or Insurance Fraud Investigators who continue to use their experience and training  to provide professional investigative services to all throughout San Diego County, the State of California and Nationwide.

Our active and qualified investigators are fully licensed, insured and have several years of experience in their respective fields of investigations. 

Several speak both English and Spanish.

Membership is open to qualified professional, experienced active and former law enforcement officers who are licensed investigators and Administration of Justice students.
